Four reasons to visit California

California is so full of life that it can be difficult to fathom the idea that some people haven’t ever visited. Well, it is a very large state so perhaps certain people are intimidated by it. Regardless, there are lots of reasons to visit California and I’m going to give you four examples.

Not far from Las Vegas

Now obviously Las Vegas is in Nevada, not California, but so long as you have a vehicle for transport you can hop over the border to Las Vegas easily. Well, dependent on where you live in California. Northern Cali natives will have further to go. Tourists wanting to spend the weekend in Vegas can spend the night in hotel resorts like ARIA Las Vegas, or any other hotel in the city (there are loads to choose from), and bask in luxury, lady luck and champagne.

Disneyland

An adult who is a kid at heart needs to take the time to visit Disneyland in Anaheim. Around 40 minutes (with good traffic) outside of Los Angeles, Disneyland has two parks to choose from: California Adventure and the original Disneyland. Filled with roller-coasters, water rapids, 3D simulations and of course a chance to meet and receive an autograph from your favourite Disney character, stay in one park for the day or hop between the two before shopping and eating in Downtown Disney.

The Pacific Ocean

Wherever you go on the coast of California, you can be sure of one thing, the Pacific ocean is beautiful, refreshing and excellent for water sports lovers. You could be down at Santa Monica Pier, up in San Francisco, joining in with the surfers, taking a cruise down the coastline, or simply sunbathing on Long Beach; the views from the beach and back towards the mainland are stunning.

San Francisco

The second most populated city in the United States after New York, San Francisco is one of the most popular places for tourists to visit. Take a stroll to Alamo Square or the San Francisco Botanical Garden, watch a gig at the famous Fillmore or simply find a good spot to gaze at the Golden Gate Bridge.
