Places I’d Love to Photograph In The Future

As a travel photographer, I often love to look through my collection of photos to reminisce about the memories I have from a specific place.  A specific photo can often take me back in time on a journey to that exact moment where I can actually experience the same emotions and physiology I did at the time.  With all of that being said, there are places that I’ve yet to conquer.

Destinations I’ve yet to set foot on.  Stories and photos I’ve yet to share with others.  The following is a list of places I’d absolutely love to visit as a travel photographer.

Northern Lights, Iceland

There is something magnificent about the Northern Lights that I just can’t put my finger on. There are many feats of nature that are marvellous and very much worthy exploring; however, a trip to see the Northern Lights Iceland would be the icing on the cake as far as night photography is concerned.  I would love to capture the bright vivid colours that come alive in the sky.  It’s a dream I’m hoping to turn into a reality sooner rather than later.

Galapagos Islands

The Galapagos Islands would be better off situated in a fairytale than on earth.  Having the opportunity to visit a part of the earth that hasn’t been overrun or spoiled by human activity is highly appealing.  Moreover, getting the opportunity to witness animals in their natural habit, up close and intimate, sends shivers down my spine.  I had an opportunity to go back in 2010 and I blew it because I was concerned about funds.  I can assure you that I won’t be blowing it again if the opportunity presents itself.

Myanmar (Burma)

I’ve travelled extensively throughout SE Asia but one country that has always alluded my reach is Myanmar.  I’ve just heard such wonderful things from others who have been there that I absolutely have to go next year when I’m in SE Asia again.  Taking photos of Bagan I know would be an absolute highlight of my trip.
